Tim Bell

Tim Bell is a Tailings Specialist at Evolution Northparkes Operations in Central NSW. After completing a Ba Science degree through Charles Sturt University Tim worked for the Dept primary Industries in various roles in NSW before entering the mining industry in 1995. He has held numerous positions at Northparkes including Lab tech for the initial gold production, Operator and Teamleader in the Concentrator before transitioning into the Production Superintendent Surface operations role. This was a role held for 10 years before transitioning to tailings and water management as the interest in tailings design, operation and closure increased. Tim currently works with a growing team in Tailings operations looking after the Cyclone tailings project and general panning for water and tailings management. Outside of work he spends most of his spare time trying to lower his golf handicap and managing a 5,000 ac farming partnership.
